Answers

Why are your prices so low compared to other manufacturers?
We price our products based upon our cost to manufacture, promote and distribute them, not based upon what others in the industry charge for their products.

Do you warrant baffle or end cap strikes?
No. Baffle strikes and end cap strikes occur due to forces outside our control, usually because a silencer has loosened from the host weapon. However, our design is such that in the event of a baffle / cap strike, we can replace the damaged internals fairly inexpensively.

Which silencer will work with 7.62 NATO?
We have a couple. For bolt action rifles, the Kestrel 7.62 AK is sufficient. For semi-auto and full auto, the Kestrel .308 is your best option.

Which silencer will work with 300 Blackout?
We have several. See the table below for options.

Ammo Type Guardian 9 Kestrel 7.62 AK Kestrel .308
Subsonic Bolt Action Yes Yes Yes
Semi Auto Yes Yes Yes
Full Auto Yes Yes
Supersonic Any Action Yes Yes

I don't have an FFL. Can I buy a silencer directly from you?
No. We only sell products to dealers and distributors. You can order any Huntertown Arms product through any FFL with an SOT.

Do you thread barrels?
No. We don't have the facilities to thread barrels.

Can you recommend someone who threads barrels?
No. Your best source of information is the dealer you purchase your silencer from.

Why don't you release your dB reduction numbers?
We could explain it, but Silencer Research does it so much better. Click here for a great explanation why manufacturers reduction numbers are (and should be) suspect.
